Re: my clipper

I think you will find in real life it is orange !  a sort of Nuffield tractor orange ! painted by hand with a very long yard brush possibly,

Re: my clipper

Thats a nice, cobby looking machine.

(Ps. Do you deliver telegrams?)
(Pps. don't tell Devonian its orange - he'll think its a KTM and get all excited in a knobbly kind of way!)

Re: my clipper

Is there much difference between your MZ TS and the MZ ETZ?

If not then there's a downloadable Haynes manual for the ETZ here:-

Re: my clipper

I had both a MZ SUPA 5 and an ETZ. I think the engines were fundamentally the same except the ETZ had oil injection whereas the SUPA 5 was petroil.
They both had the same 'clutch mounted on the crankshaft' design. When the clutch came loose on the SUPA5, I took it for warranty work to the supplying dealer in Manchester. They fixed it - so they said.
Returning home to the North-East shortly thereafter the same thing happened again. This time it was repaired by the local dealer - Kitsons of Westgate Road. Apparently it need a complete new clutch and crankshaft as the original 'repair' was to spot weld the two components together, thereby ensuring the wrecking of both components when the weld broke.
I'm not a two stroke fan so they didn't last long. I think I could get to like them now.....

Try me best - honest! big_smile
