Topic: Beamish Trophy Trial 2016

No-one can now be in doubt as to the realities of global warming, as the Beamish TT traversed a September Weardale basked in sunshine, and lulled by a light breeze. We're all doomed!

Postscript:
Whatever Tommy says, a pre-unit Triumph is a highly tuned sporting machine - a veritable racehorse of the road.....and like a racehorse a T100 will sometimes throw its rider and carry on after the field - at least that what I think John Lines bike was doing?

Re: Beamish Trophy Trial 2016

Yes indeed it was a really nice day to be standing in a field watching others do what you cannot! Amazing (as ever) to see the skill and tenacity of the riders.
Indeed the conditions were such that we couldn't make the High House Lonnen section difficult to challenge the majority of riders. Everyone seemed to enjoy it though.
One thing I did notice was the proliferation of WD B40 entrants (or bomb dodgers as Spike calls them) and the increase in numbers of high-pipe Honda twins (CL250 or 350). Not really sure why I noticed all that though....
Great pictures as ever FF!

Try me best - honest! big_smile
